Version 2 is much better - Updating my earlier review of 1.1
Now its a good program, albeit still pretty basic.. But at least they fixed the previous two glaring defects. Now you can ‘drag’ an image out of your library and into an email, or anywhere, without it being removed from the library and crashing the program. And they did get the spot #’s on the image to transfer to the Report. However, if you drag the image out of the program, the spot markers show up, and a nice list of the spot temps on the photo, but the # next to the spot markers is still missing, Dohh!
And it is still bothersome that once you create a report, you can not go back and edit the image and have the changes show up in the “existing” report. You have to create a whole new report. But since the report is simply a pdf, which is a huge convenience, I can see how you wouldn’t expect the changes to transfer.
It would be really nice to be able to change the actual Image File Name after you have imported them, like "Build B - East side". Becasue this file name will always show up above the image in reports that you create. Now you have to prescan all your images in a finder window and rename them prior to importing. Kind of a pain.
But hey, considering the price :-) I now have no real complaints. And given the fact that they even bothered to make a version for MAC makes me happy. So It’s gone from decent to good in my opinion. Maybe Version 3 will be great.
